Barry Brown's Big Game Hunts are hosted at the Only and Original Hunting and Fishing Lodge located 32 miles Northwest of Atikokan, Ontario; on the Doorstep of the Famed White Otter Waterway Park. Chose from archery, rifle and black powder to hunt Black Bear, Moose, Whitetail Deer, Timber Wolf and Small Game. (Zones - WMU 12A, 12B, 9A and 10). Combo Hunting and Fishing, full or partial packages available on all our Hunts. Black Bear of all color phases (1 of 3 colored) inhabit exclusively - leased 1,000,000 acres of Wilderness. We maintain a large number of baits (often 100+). Each Hunter is offered a choice of 'Active' baits. Your Success and Satisfaction is our Number 1 priority. We limit the number of Bear Hunters weekly - generally 12 to 15, often fewer. North American Moose Hunts are offered each Fall; limited allocation of "Bull" Tags available. The archery Hunt is often described as, 'The Fiercest Rush'! Personal choice of hunt transportation - water or ground; Hunt area includes remote backwoods, cut overs, swamps, creek beds and lakeshores. 'Calling' and 'Spot and Stalk' most effective for larger, older Bulls - Aim for 48" plus! Our Whitetail Deer Hunters secure many of Northwestern, Ontario "Top-Class Bucks". These North Woods boast big-boned, heavy bodied "Whitetail Deer", capable of surviving harsher Winters and larger predators. Baited and un-baited; woodlots, open fields, river bottoms - many personal choices! All Hunts professionally operated; 5 Star Service and Hospitality. (Guides 'Mandated' in certain Zones) Timber Wolf Hunts are most productive during Winter months. This Hunt is a true adventure; patience is a virtue! Baited sites are established in remote areas. Upland Game hunting for Grouse, both Ruffed and Spruce, is very productive and rewarding, especially for dog owners. Abandoned logging trails, roadways, cut overs, lakeshores and over land portages are natural "Homing" and "Feeding" areas for this quarry. By all accounts, this region is very remote. A single Highway Corridor traverses through the 2,000,000 acres available for our Black Bear, Moose, Whitetail Deer, Timber Wolf and Small Game Hunts. Seine River Lodge is located near Atikokan Ontario and between Quetico Provincial Park and the White Otter Wilderness Preserve. They have great fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Lake Trout at the lodge with many lakes in the park, which you can canoe and portage to. Little Moose Lodge is located on the Clearwater - Pipestone chain of Lakes. This area is well known for having outstanding fishing for Walleye, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Lake Trout. Guest have caught Walleyes as big as 12 pounds with lots of good eaters available, Muskie over 50-inches get caught and released all summer, lots of 20-pound Pike get caught each year, Smallmouth Bass up to the 5-pound mark are common and Lake Trout grow to be giants as each year a few over 30 pounds get caught and released.
